Our bedroom has been the last (besides the baby room, no baby yet though so I dont count it as not finished, it hasnt even begun!) room to finish, weve painted our kitchen, both bathrooms, living room, and finally..the bedroom! Maybe this is the place we should have started first because seriously, I hated going in my bedroom and thats an important room. But no one ever sees it so I put it at the bottom of the list. Dan and I are planning on buying a new bed from IKEA as a Christmas present to each other, but of course that all depends how we are financially.

With this awesome headboard behind it - its hard to see but the things on each side actually hide behind the headboard and you pull them out for your 'night stand' then you can push them back to hide. Good way to save space. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80109421

It looks really good! Our bedroom's been painted, but our bed is just a mattress on the floor...courtesy of John and Hayden "fighting" on it...LOL! I plan on getting a new bed when we can afford one, too! I want one that has the padded headboard. I love those beds! Good job!
I love the ones with padded headboards too. Especially ones with a pattern or design on them. You should post a pic when you guys buy a bed! What color is your bedroom?
It's like a light grey color. We don't have like a bed set or anything, so I had to make it a neutral color. John sleeps with a blue comforter and I have a pink comforter...LOL...we can't share blankets! We both steal them from each other. I'll try to post pics when we get one...whenever that is...LOL! Maybe I'll get a bedset, too!
aww thats cute you each have your own blanket and its color coded to gender! lol Dan always takes the covers, but I keep another cover on top of the blanket or on the floor to grab when he does that. Its not too often tho because he likes to cuddle (I dont lol) and so hes normally on top of me the whole night, apparently he likes to smash me
